Pine Point is a peaceful nature area with pine forests, lakes, and marshes. This park contains five miles of multi-use trails for biking, bird watching, cross-country skiing, hiking, and horseback riding on some of the finest trails in the metropolitan area.
Point Douglas Park has a concrete fishing pier at the far east end of the park. It is located between the U.S. Highway 10 bridge (over the St. Croix River) and the park's picnic area. The park became a regional park in 2005, and serves as one of the major trailheads to the State of Minnesota's Gateway Trail.
