  1. Fat Tire Bike Demos

    January 26, 2019, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Lake Elmo Park Reserve

    Demos provided by NOW! Bikes & Fitness. Demo ride is generally a guided ride on very easy double-track horse trail. There is a paved-trail option as well. The loop takes about 20-30 minutes. Depending on bike availability, demo riders may be able to ride more than one loop. Walk-ups are welcome or you may call (651-490-7709) ahead of time to reserve a bike and time. Spaces are limited. What to wear/bring: helmet (if you have one), hat or balaclava to wear under helmet, very warm gloves/mittens, dress in layers, warm boots/shoes/off-road cycling shoes with very warm socks.

    WinterFest is the perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy everything that the winter season has to offer! Breathe in the clean, crisp winter air while traversing the trails of Lake Elmo Park Reserve by cross-country ski, fat-tire bike and kick-sledding! XC Ski Lessons: Winter fun awaits with cross-country ski lessons provided by Ride & Glide XC Ski Club. All skill levels are welcome equipment is provided. Please register with Ride and Glide to gear and lessons. Fat-tire Biking: Fat tire bikes offer a unique, new way to experience the outdoors. What better way to conquer the great bold north than biking over snow-covered trails? All skill levels are welcome. If you can bike, you can fat-tire bike! Equipment is provided. Kick-Sledding: Try out kick-sledding on Eagle Point Lake. It is a great activity for the entire family and anyone can learn in a few minutes. No reservations required.
