  1. Bird Hike

    May 26, 2018, 9:00 AM @ Pine Point Regional Park

    Explore new trails and Pine Point Regional Park and learn to identify the birds that call the St. Croix Valley home. The surveys collected will assist our Natural Resources team and related work in conjunction with the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Fund grant. Please dress for the weather and activity; we recommend you bring binoculars and a water bottle. Other items to consider include: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, hiking or tennis shoes, bug spray, and snacks.

  2. Campfire Program

    May 26, 2018, 7:15 PM - 8:00 PM @ Lake Elmo Park Reserve

    Saturday evenings at 7:15 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day, join area naturalists at outdoor park amphitheaters for a variety of engaging nature programs. Each program runs 45 minutes and will present live creatures, facts, and/or exhibits for hands-on, family learning. Program topics include animal adaptations, bats, bird banding, bugs, dragonflies, frogs, hawks, owls, snakes, raptors, wolves, and much more!

  4. Yoga in the Park

    May 31, 2018, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Lake Elmo Park Reserve

    Tune into the sights and sounds of nature and release stress through guided yoga sequences designed to improve balance, flexibility, breath awareness and muscle tone. This is open to all levels. Dress for outdoor yoga, bring a mat, water and arrive 5-10 minutes early. In the case of rain or inclement weather, class will be held at the Nordic Center (check the website for updates or call the office). Registration is required for Outdoor Yoga. A discount outdoor yoga season pass is available for $75/person; otherwise, each individual class is $7/person + a vehicle permit. Vehicle permits are not included in the class or pass price.
