  2. Guided fitness hike

    April 19, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Lake Elmo Park Reserve

    The one-hour hikes involve a warm-up and fitness challenges along the way. Trails are a mix of turf, gravel, grass, snow, and pavement depending on trail conditions, time of year, and location. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. If light rain or snow, hike will go on as scheduled. The program is for those ages 13 and older. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

    Enter at the middle school/high school driveway. Satellite collections bring the services offered at the Washington County Environmental Center closer to residents, making it more convenient and practical for them to recycle and dispose their household hazardous waste and electronics.

    Sip and savor a catered multi-course tea in the stately historic courtroom and enjoy a program on Tea-ology: Facts, Stories and Traditions. What is tea? What are the types of tea? Where is it from? Learn the answers to these questions and enjoy fun historical facts and stories surrounding tea with guest speaker, professional chef and tea expert Joy Sorich of Cup of Joy. Arrive early and stay late to shop beautiful quilted items by the Courthouse Quilters and premium organic loose leaf teas by Cup of Joy. Tour the exhibits and 1900's county jail or view displays of the Historic Courthouse China Collection in the courtroom. The cost is $40 per person. All proceeds benefit the Historic Courthouse Restoration Fund. Enjoy a scrumptious tea while helping to preserve this historic landmark!
