  4. Rights and Responsibilities of Unmarried Fathers

    The Washington County Law Library invites the public to attend a presentation entitled, “Father’s Rights for Unmarried Fathers,” aimed at educating single fathers. Every child has a biological father, but not every child has a "legal" father. Once a court order names a man as the legal parent of a child, he has certain rights, duties, and obligations that go along with being the legal parent of that child. Discover the tiny one-celled life forms that live in every drop of water during this engaging program with Dr. Mark Edlund, senior scientist at the Science Museum of Minnesota's St. Croix Watershed Research Station in Marine on St. Croix Minnesota. Thanks to Dr. Mark Edlund for his time and the Science Museum of Minnesota for the loan of microscopes for this program at Hardwood Creek Library. Grades 3 and up.
