A reclamation consists of grinding up the existing pavement (minimum 12 inches) and placing it back down. A portion of the reclaimed material is injected with an asphalt emulsion to strengthen the road base. The stabilized base is then overlaid with 5 inches of asphalt.
The reclaim will result in raising the profile of the road by 2 inches. Driveways will be adjusted to provide a transition to the road.
Road to remain open to traffic during work; however, drivers should expect delays, periodic lane closures, and flaggers.
