Community Ice Cream Social at Washington County Historic Courthouse July 20

Outdoors on the lush, green grounds of the Washington County Historic Courthouse 5-9 p.m. Thursday, July 20, the Ice Cream Social is a perennial community favorite and the official kick-off to Stillwater’s Lumberjack Days.
Featured fun includes live music by Scrapegoat Skin & Bones, and Blue Groove Bluegrass. There will also be the Fantasy Corral Petting Zoo, children’s games and activities, Historic Medallion Hunt medallion sales, the first medallion clue reading, the Civil War exhibit in the Historic Courthouse, and jail tours.
Hotdogs and brats, 50-cent root beer floats, doughnuts, and penny candy will be available for purchase. Natural amphitheater seating with plenty of room to spread out blankets and chairs on the Historic Courthouse lawn is also available.
The ice cream social is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, the event will adapt and move indoors.
A thank you to local event sponsors Candyland, Edina Realty, Leo’s Grill and Malt Shop, Lift Bridge Brewing Co., Lumberjack Days, the Washington County Historical Society, and Washington County.
The Historic Courthouse is at the corner of Pine and Third streets in Stillwater.
