Spring weight restrictions will go into effect on Washington County roads at 12:01 a.m. Friday, March 10. Restrictions will be in effect for eight weeks, unless extraordinary conditions require extending them.
Any county road without a posted weight limit is 10 tons per axle.
During spring weight restrictions, Washington County does not issue permits for transport over the axle weight limit, except in cases of a serious public health emergency. According to an executive order, a state of emergency exists in Minnesota, and vehicles used to pump or transport sewage from septic systems are exempted from the seasonal load restrictions, while providing emergency septic system pumping services.
