Community Thread seeks nominations for 2021 Community Involvement Awards

Community Thread is now accepting nominations for the 2021 Community Involvement Awards. The Community Involvement Awards, now in their 46th year, honor the work of exceptional volunteers in the community. 

“Volunteers play a key role in helping our community thrive,” said Jennifer Kmecik, Volunteer Center Director at Community Thread. “The Community Involvement Awards are a way to recognize these volunteers for their dedication and service.”

These awards recognize volunteers in six categories: Youth, Group/Family, Exemplary Employer, Outstanding, Lifetime, and Legacy. Nominees must be residents or organizations in Washington County who meet the criteria for each award. Complete the nomination form online. Nominations are due by March 5, 2021.

For more than 50 years, Community Thread has connected people, neighborhoods and lives to strengthen the community. The nonprofit’s mission is to leverage resources and volunteers to improve the quality of life for adults and their families in the local community.
