Reservations & Permits

Vehicle Permits

All vehicles entering a park require a vehicle permit, including vehicles belonging to registered campers and picnic shelter users. The permit is valid in all Washington, Anoka, and Carver county parks.

Vehicle permits are not required along the Hardwood Creek Trail, or at the Historic Courthouse. Vehicle permits are also not required in any park on the first non-holiday Tuesday of each month, or on the first Saturday of June, which is "Explore Your Parks Day" in Washington County.

Reservations

Camping and Pavilion reservations begin in January for the upcoming season. Reservations can be made online.

2020 Reservation Information

Reservations begin online Tuesday, January 7th at 8:00 a.m. for campsites. New this year, picnic pavilion reservations and group campsite reservations can also be made online.

Park Offices will begin accepting phone call or in-person reservations beginning Tuesday, January 21st at 8:00 a.m.
