Washington County is responsible for managing and regulating residential solid waste such as garbage, recycling, food waste, yard waste, and hazardous waste from residents, as well as coordinating the county’s efforts in groundwater management and protection.
Environmental Planning Survey
We want to know what is important to you. Washington County Public Health and Environment is inviting residents to participate in a short survey to contribute to local planning for groundwater and solid waste programs. Your input will help us create programs and services that enhance the quality of life in Washington County, making it a wonderful place to live, work, and enjoy recreational activities.
Complete the survey to be entered into a drawing for a backyard compost bin, a Washington County park pass, or a sustainability prize pack. Ten (10) prizes are available. Odds of winning depend on number of completed surveys.
