The state of Minnesota offers several COVID-19 testing options, including community (rapid and saliva) and at-home testing. Many COVID-19 tests are free, but a health care provider may charge for their time. Learn who should get tested.
From October 15, 2021 - January 31, 2022, Washington County residents who are receiving or have received human service, public health, or community corrections services within the last six months can be reimbursed for their COVID-19 testing costs. These services include cash assistance, food support, child support, child protection, veterans’ services, WIC, adult/juvenile probation, other case management.
Residents will need to submit the test receipt and a valid form of identification. Approved costs will be reimbursed via cash cards and can be either picked up at one of the county’s service locations or can be mailed directly to a home.
