Please see important updates on funding:

  • A statewide COVID-19 Emergency Rent Assistance portal will open in the coming weeks. Learn more at renthelpmn.org.
  • If you are in need of emergency assistance, click here for more information and to apply for Emergency Assistance/Emergency General Assistance.
  • The CARES Rental Assistance funding closed on November 30, 2020. We are no longer accepting applications for this program.

Washington County has funding available to pay past due rent, utilities, damage deposits, and other emergency expenses.  Although there has been a temporary hold on evictions, full payment of rent is required and landlords may evict tenants with past due rent after state and federal restrictions on eviction filings are lifted. Click HERE for the latest information on the eviction moratorium in Minnesota.
