Cognitive Behavioral Interventions-Substance Abuse

Cognitive Behavioral Interventions-Substance Abuse (CBI-SA) is a cognitive skills program that focuses specifically on issues related to substance abuse. The participants learn various strategies to help achieve and maintain sobriety over the course of this 42-session long program. 

CBI-SA is comprised of the following 7 modules:

  • Pre-Treatment
  • Motivational Engagement
  • Cognitive Restructuring
  • Emotional Engagement
  • Social Skills
  • Problem Solving
  • Success Planning

The class operates as a semi-open ended program that allows participants the opportunity to start at specific parts of the program, provided that they have been completed certain pre-requisite lessons to enter. 

Where: Classes are currently offered in Stillwater

When: 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M., meeting twice a week.
