Licensed Child Foster Care

We value your work with Washington County's most vulnerable children. You may utilize these resources to help maintain licensing requirements and to obtain additional supports. If you have any questions, please contact your licensor.

License holders are required to obtain 12 hours* of training each year. Of this training, at least one hour must relate to mental health and one hour must related to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The other 10 hours of training may be in any topic you wish, so long as it is related to caring for children.

*In your first year of licensure only, you are required to obtain 13 hours of training which includes the mandated FASD training.
