Aggregate Tax

Washington County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 33 on September 28, 1982 which imposes a productions tax on the removal of aggregate from  pits, quarries, or deposits located within Washington County.

All operators who transport aggregate are responsible for the Aggregate Removal Tax.  See Minnesota Statute 298.75 Aggregate Material Removal; Production Tax.

Aggregate Removal Tax operator reporting forms are due by the 14th day following the last day of each calendar quarter.  The report shall be accompanied by a remittance for the amount of tax due.

  • January 14th
  • April 14th
  • July 14th
  • October 14th
