Washington County will provide full and equal access to its services and programs. The county will provide effective auxiliary aids (including ASL interpreters and Video Remote Interpreting) and services that will:

  • Permit deaf and hard-of-hearing people to communicate with its staff.
  • Allow effective communication with all deaf and hard-of-hearing people. 

Sign language, oral interpreters, video remote interpreting, texting, TTYs, and other auxiliary services are available to deaf and hard-of-hearing people free of charge.

Washington County will not retaliate against, or coerce in any way, any person who exercises or attempts to exercise his or her rights to services and programs of Washington County.
