Hike On in 2019

Take a Hike! A REAL Hike!
Enjoy a variety of beautiful views and landscapes while reaping the benefits of nature with a guided hike at Washington County Parks.

Spending time in nature offers many health benefits. Moving your body (outdoors specifically) naturally decreases your heart rate and blood pressure, lowers stress, and increases energy, stamina and confidence.

Hikes can be customized to fit your needs, whether you want a leisurely walk or more intense strength and fitness conditioning. Guide Liz will help you decide your course of action upon arrival.

Trails are a mix of turf, gravel, grass, and paved routes. Please meet at the Nordic Center and plan to arrive 10 minutes early with water and appropriate footwear (hiking boots or shoes). For ages 13+ (all minors must be accompanied by an adult). FREE with vehicle permit.

Guide Liz Westerhaus is a certified yoga instructor and outdoor enthusiast with experience in backpacking, trail running, Nordic skiing, and more.

These programs are free with a parks vehicle permit ($7/day or $30/annual) with the exception of Free Tuesdays.
