Helping Women Recover

Program Description

Helping Women Recover is a gender-responsive trauma informed program that integrates theories of women's psychological development, trauma and addiction to meet the unique needs of chemically dependent women. Helping Women Recover is facilitated by two female probation officers trained in the curriculum.

Helping Women Recover is an 18-lesson program organized into four modules:
  • Self
  • Relationships
  • Sexuality
  • Spirituality

Program Details

Schedule: Once a week for five months, noon to 2 p.m.
