The Washington County Community Development Agency (CDA) is authorized by the Minnesota Housing and Redevelopment Act, Chapter 487, Minnesota Session Laws of 1947, to undertake certain types of housing and redevelopment activities in Washington County. Washington County Board Resolution No. 80 87 established the CDA after certain need findings.
Washington County CDA board members are appointed by the Washington County Board. The board consists of:
five citizen members (one from each Commissioner District);
one County Commissioner; and
one consumer of CDA services as required in the Code of Federal Regulations.
Members are appointed for three-year terms.
The CDA Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month.
Minnesota Statute (Section 469.001, et. seq.) provide that CDA board members may receive up to $55 per meeting. The Washington County CDA provides for this payment.
This advisory board operates in accordance with operating procedures established by the county.
