Lake Elmo Park Reserve

Located 15 miles east of the Twin Cities metro area is 2,165 acres (3 ½ square miles) with 80 percent of its acreage set aside for preservation and protection. This portion will eventually resemble the land as it was prior to the arrival of the settlers in the mid-1800s. This park reserve offers gently rolling hills with a variety of landscape types, including forest and prairie. Watch for pheasants, weasels, red fox, woodpeckers, cardinals, cottontail rabbits, squirrels and white-tailed deer.


St Croix Bluffs Regional Park

St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park is a 579-acre Regional Park on the wild and scenic St. Croix River. The rolling, upland prairies, wooded ravines, and bluffs are a hallmark of this park, which fronts on 3,800 feet of shoreline along the St. Croix River, a nationally-recognized wild and scenic river route.
Payment must be received at the time of reservation. Cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance of arrival date to receive a campsite fee refund. Weekend reservations must include two nights; holidays weekends require three nights. Only one camping unit per site. Please be aware that pets are not allowed. Check-in is 3pm; Check-out is 1 p.m.

Vehicle permits are required for all vehicles entering the park.
