County Highway Right of Way Plats

The Land Survey Unit prepares County Highway Right of Way Plats in coordination with the County Engineer. These plats are recorded documents that relate to the location of the highway right-of-way. The County Highway Right of Way Plat is also utilized for acquisition of new county highway right-of-way. Once the new highway is constructed and completed, the Land Survey Unit is responsible for monumenting and maintaining the boundaries of the right-of-way.
