2009 Land Atlas & Plat Book
The new Land Atlas & Plat Book (2009 Edition) is now available. These new books can be purchased for $25 plus tax at the Washington County Government Center, Survey and Land Management Division (Room 350). The books can also be purchased at the following locations:
- Forest Lake Service Center
- Stillwater License Center
- Woodbury Service Center
- Cottage Grove Service Center
Coming Soon - 2009 Color Orthophotography
New color orthophotography of the entire county was acquired during April 2009. The new orthophotos are currently being processed to the same resolution and accuracy standards as the 2005 orthophotos and will be available to the public in November 2009.

NAD83 Control Reports
NAD83 Control Reports and Section Worksheets are now available for all townships in Washington County.
Washington County horizontal coordinates are a ground surface, Transverse Mercator projection on the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83/1986). Values are expressed in U.S. survey feet.
Credit Card Payments
In response to numerous customer requests, Washington County will now accept payment by Visa and MasterCard. The availability of this service makes it more convenient for customers to make purchases and allows them to make purchases by phone.
Digital Two Foot Contours
Digital two-foot contours, in AutoCAD drawing format, is available for all of Washington County. The data is current to April 2000. Using the National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy, the data set tested 0.6 feet vertical accuracy at a 67 percent confidence level and 1.2 feet vertical accuracy at 95 percent confidence level.
The digital data will be provided under a license agreement with Washington County at a fee that was set by the Washington County Board of Commissioners.
