Resources For Quitting

Talk to your doctor. She/He will discuss any health concerns you may need to think about in addition to your quitting smoking. Remember, there are many ways to quit smoking; if one way doesn't work for you, try another. The average number of times smokers have tried to quit is 5 to 7 times. Also, your health plan may have some resources such as classes, support groups, self-help programs or individual counseling for members.
