Payment of Property Taxes can be made by the following convenient methods:

Mail your check and payment stub from your tax statement to:

or use the Green payment envelopes mailed with your property tax statement in March. Payments must be postmarked by the due date to avoid penalties.

Washington County is utilizing Check21 technology to electronically deposit your tax payment check.   Check21 allows a paper check to be deposited in our bank on the same day your check is received.   Checks may clear your bank on the same day we deposit.

Taxpayer Services is located at the County Government Center, First Floor, 14949 62nd St. N., Stillwater, MN 55082. Office Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Payments at our counter are accepted by Cash, Check, or Money Order.  Credit cards cannot be accepted over the counter.

Pay your property taxes online by either Credit Card or Electronic Check. Secure and convenient payment services through Link2Gov. Just click on Property Tax from our homepage and follow the instructions. (Convenience fees are assessed by our payment vendor for online tax payments). A convenience fee will apply at the rate of $1 per E-check transaction, or 2.39% of the payment amount for Credit Cards. Credit Cards accepted are VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
