The License Division operates license centers in Forest Lake, Stillwater and Woodbury. The centers collect and distribute taxes raised through statutory fees for motor vehicle transactions, Department of Natural Resources transactions, driver licensing, certified copies of birth and death records, marriage licensing, passport applications, and notaries.
The Division also operates service desks in the Woodbury, Cottage Grove and the Forest Lake Service Centers. Customers can make tax payments, apply for homestead, absentee vote and purchase park permits. In addition, the Cottage Grove Service desk provides passport application processing, and birth, death certificates, and marriage licenses.
