General Information
Lake Elmo Park Reserve is a 2165 acre park that currently offers camping, swimming, boating, fishing, natural resource restoration, etc.; along with paved, turf and cross-country ski trails.
An updated master plan for the park was completed in 2006, which identified existing park development, evaluated and located remaining planned items, and investigated potential new facilities. The plan identifies the future course of development and natural resource management in Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
Public meetings were held throughout the process, concluding with a public hearing on May 9, 2006, where the Washington County Board of Commissioners adopted the plan. The Metropolitan Council approved the plan on August 23, 2006. The final master plan document is available below.
