Washington County is updating the Master Plan for Big Marine Park Reserve. Big Marine Park Reserve is part of the Metropolitan Regional Park System, a network of natural resource-based parks in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The master planning process began in September 2009 and is expected to conclude in May 2010. Public meetings to review development plans and provide input will be scheduled throughout the planning process. Additionally, a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), consisting of local officials and professional staff, will meet regularly to review plans and provide input. The dates and locations of these meetings will be posted in the "Updates" section of this web page.

Public Meeting/Open House
Feb. 24, 2010: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Public meetings were held on October 21, 2009, and February 24, 2010.
Information boards were prepared for the February 24 meeting based on comments/input received at the initial October public meeting; as well as from comments from the Technical Advisory Committee and Parks and Open Space Commission. Materials from the February 24 meeting are provided in the links below. Additional materials will be provided when they become available.
