Project Description

Washington County has updated the Master Plan for Big Marine Park Reserve. Big Marine Park Reserve is part of the Metropolitan Regional Park System, a network of natural resource-based parks in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. To learn more about the Regional Park System follow the link provided below.

Park Planning Process

The master planning process began in September 2009 and will conclude in August of 2010. Public meetings to review development plans and provide input have been conducted throughout the planning process. Additionally, a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), consisting of local officials and professional staff, have met regularly to review plans and provide input. Washington County invites you to provide ideas and comments related to the update of the Big Marine Park Master Plan. To provide input, e-mail Peter Mott at the Washington County Park Division.
