Visit the Historic Courthouse and take a self-guided tour to learn about the history of the St. Croix Valley from territorial days to the present. See the courthouse video, old county jail, exhibit, artifacts, courtroom, Soldiers and Sailors' Monument, Civil War howitzer and more.
Self-guided tours are free.

Visit the Historic Courthouse to see a charming Department 56 Dickens Village. The lighted village is certain to charm young and old alike. The courthouse will be decorated for the holidays and you are invited to visit this festive site as part of your holiday celebration.
Victorian Tea and Program

Join Courthouse staff and volunteers for a delightful afternoon of tea and a program on "The Victorian Language of Flowers." Guests will be seated at tables set with a charming and eclectic array of dishes, linens and glassware. Take the afternoon off and let us cater to you with old-fashioned service, a variety of tasty treats and an informative and entertaining program presented by Jayne Becker, a volunteer at the Alexander Ramsey House in St. Paul.
Advance tickets are required. Tickets for the Tea will go on sale during the "Victorian Christmas at the Historic Courthouse" Preview Gala on Friday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. and will be sold throughout the weekend. Beginning Nov. 23, tickets will be available in the Coordinator's Office at the Historic Courthouse during normal business hours.
Please Note: Ticket numbers are limited and staff expects to sell out early. Tickets will be sold until they are gone or Dec. 30, whichever comes first.

Old-fashioned games, historic artifacts and photos, refreshments, activities and a mock trial make this a great way to spend time with your family.
Scouts, home-schoolers, 4-H and other groups will find this day beneficial for fulfilling curricula and badge requirements.
