Downloadable eAudiobooks are digital versions of audio books that are available to Washington County Library users through NetLibrary (www.netLibrary.com). Hundreds of books are available to choose from with new titles added each month. Choose from bestsellers, book club favorites, award-winning authors, and more.
Library users can download eAudiobooks directly to personal computers using the NetLibrary website or through the NetLibrary Media Center. Downloadable eAudiobooks are available in one of the two formats (WMA or MP3) and can be played on computers running Windows or on a number of MP3 players. Many of these titles can also be played on Windows-based iPods.
Before you can begin downloading eAudiobooks, you will need to create a NetLibrary account. You may check out up to ten eAudiobooks at one time. Each eAudiobook file is active for three weeks. After the checkout period, the license will automatically expire. The license can be renewed once during the three weeks without downloading again.
Library computers cannot be used to download and transfer eAudiobooks: Washington County Library cannot accommodate the transfer of digital audio files to personal digital media players due to the wide variety of software required.
