Summer reading programs for kids, teen, and adults . . . 

See what happened at Hardwood Creek Library's Critter Adventure Camp. Children 3-6 years old dropped off campers at the library on June 22 and picked them up a week later. This scrapbook chronicles their adventures (and a few misadventures)!

Washington County Library has been selected to receive the We the People “A More Perfect Union” Bookshelf, a collection of classic books for young readers -- to encourage and strengthen the teaching, study, and understanding of American history and culture. The We the People Bookshelf is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) We the People program, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office.

Debt Collection Rights Clinic -- R. H. Stafford Library, Tuesday, August 24, 3:30-7:30 p.m.  

During July, the picture rail at R. H. Stafford Library features the paintings of Charlie Nestor. "The work comes from images, memories, and glimpses out my car window as I took many, many trips to North Central Minnesota from my home in Woodbury...."

The Collectors' Corner Neighborhood Trading Post at the R. H. Stafford Library in Woodbury encourages children of all ages to explore their natural surroundings and learn about the objects they discover. The Trading Post is a collaborative effort of Washington County Library and the Science Museum of Minnesota. Hours are Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
