Washington County Law Library
Brian R. Huffman, Washington County Law Librarian

The law library will be closed Feb. 20, 2012, in observance of Presidents' Day. Normal hours resume Feb. 21.

Due to the popularity of its series of public workshops that teach participants where to find free legal resources online, the Law Library will once again present six of the most requested workshops of 2011 - in 2012. In addition, participants will come away with an understanding of various legal issues and options. Workshop topics will be presented by a volunteer lawyer, and laptop computers will be available. Workshops are open to all members of the public, regardless of residence. The series of hands-on workshops brings quality legal information to the public, and is a collaboration between the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Minnesota Department of Education, and Washington County.
All workshops 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Registration is recommended to ensure the availability of a laptop computer:

Law Library Benefits
The Law Library is a requesting site to receive public library materials. Registered library patrons have the added convenience of having books, DVDs, CDs, etc., delivered to the Law Library. A "hold" shelf has been added in the law library for this service. The Law Library is also selling used/donated books. Come see what we have to offer.
