Hazardous Waste At Home

Open a cupboard in your kitchen, basement, or garage. Read a few labels. If they contain any of these words: CAUTION, WARNING, DANGER, POISON, the products may contain hazardous materials. If disposed of improperly, these products may become a threat to you and your family’s health and the environment.

  • Don't throw them in the garbage.
  • Don't pour them in the sewer.
  • Don't pour them on the ground.
  • Don't pour them in your septic tank.
