Hazardous Waste At Businesses

Washington County operates a commercial hazardous waste regulation program for businesses and other non-household entities that generate hazardous waste. The program enforces Minnesota and Washington County hazardous waste rules and conducts licensing and on-site inspections of companies that generate hazardous waste.

It is the County's experience that most businesses strive to be in compliance with the rules and thereby protect the environment. County staff is available for any business that needs technical assistance in understanding the hazardous waste requirements, completing the necessary forms, or has a hazardous waste related question. Staff working in the regulation program have 60 years of combined environmental experience and can help you in solving your waste management problems! Call us at 651-430-6655.
