Food Safety Classes
Certified Food Manager Courses are held in various locations throughout the State. For a list of courses, visit the course listings at the Minnesota Department of Health.
State of Minnesota Certified Food Managers are required to obtain four hours of continuing education in food safety every 36 months. A four hour food safety training seminar is hosted by Washington County in October. The course meets the continuing education requirements.

State Certification
Taking the certification course is the first step to becoming a State of Minnesota Certified Food Manager. Application must be made to the state for registration.
