ATTENTION COURT CUSTOMERS:
Washington County Court Administration, State Judicial Branch will be closed on Tuesday mornings effective April 8, 2008. Counter services and public phone lines will be unavailable from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m; however, court will still be in session during this time. A drop box is located at the Government Center courts area, on the first floor outside of the metal detection site on Tuesday mornings.Cash should not accompany any payments or filings placed in the drop-box – checks only.
Normal business hours for the Court are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of Tuesday mornings.
PLEASE NOTE: The Cottage Grove Satellite Office will close permanently effective July 1, 2008. Newport, St. Paul Park, Woodbury, and Cottage Grove cases will be processed at the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater after that date. Hearing Officer services will be available by appointment only at the Washington County Service Center - Cottage Grove (13000 Ravine Parkway South, Cottage Grove.).
Washington County Court (State of Minnesota Judicial Branch) places a high focus on access and public service. Unfortunately, budget realities won't allow us to continue that level of service.
