Developmental Disabilities
Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
The Developmental Disabilities unit provides case management services for persons with mental retardation or a related condition to gain access to needed supports and services. The case manager works on behalf of the person to identify their unique needs and to minimize the impact of the disability on the person's life while assuring continuity of quality services and supports for the person. Case Management also includes the coordination and evaluation of services, negotiating and actively promoting access to ordinary and specialized community resources.
