The Washington County Floodplain Ordinance.  An Ordinance for the Controlling of Lands within Washington County that are subject to recurring flooding by overflow of streams and other water courses casing hazard to life and property, disruption of commerce and governmental services, unsanitary conditions, and the interruption of transportation and communications, all of which are detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of floodplain areas. Repealing the Washington County Floodplain Ordinance No. 28.
