Washington County Annual Performance Report for 2006
Washington County is committed to providing quality public services to its citizens in an efficient, cost-effective, and responsive manner. In an effort to sustain or improve service levels to residents and to more strategically align performance to management decision-making, Washington County implemented a system of results-oriented government in the early 1990s.
The Washington County Annual Performance Report provides Washington County citizens, decision-makers, and staff with a one-stop source to track progress over several years in program outcomes, customer satisfaction, and new initiatives. Keeping pace with changing expectations, focusing attention on improving critical programs and services, making effective decisions, and communicating results to its citizens are some of the reasons why Washington County continues its performance measurement and improvement efforts.
