St Croix Bluffs Camping

Campgrounds are open from April 25 to October 19, 2014, at 
Lake Elmo Park Reserve and St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park. Reservations now being taken at the park offices or online.


Weekend reservations must include both Friday and Saturday nights. Three nights are required for holiday weekends. Payment must be received within two weeks of making the reservation or no later than two days before arrival, whichever is earlier. Cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance of arrival date to receive a campsite fee refund. Specific campsites can be reserved, but not guaranteed. Water may not be available after Oct. 1st. Vehicle permits are required for all vehicles entering the park. Only one camping unit per site. Pets are not allowed.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve 

Located 15 miles east of the Twin Cities metro area is 2,165 acres (3 ½ square miles) with 80 percent of its acreage set aside for preservation and protection. This portion will eventually resemble the land as it was prior to the arrival of the settlers in the mid-1800s. This park reserve offers gently rolling hills with a variety of landscape types, including forest and prairie. Watch for pheasants, weasels, red fox, woodpeckers, cardinals, cottontail rabbits, squirrels and white-tailed deer.

St Croix Bluffs Regional Park

St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park is a 579-acre Regional Park on the wild and scenic St. Croix River. The rolling, upland prairies, wooded ravines, and bluffs are a hallmark of this park, which fronts on 3,800 feet of shoreline along the St. Croix River, a nationally-recognized wild and scenic river route.
