Oakdale Branch Minnesota Book Club
The Minnesota Book Club meets to discuss books by Minnesota authors, or books that take place in Minnesota. The group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.

Book club dates, selections for 2014:
March 18 – The Work of Wolves by Kent Meyers
April 15 – Giants in the Earth by O.E. Rolvaag
May 20 – The Round House by Louise Erdrich
June 17 – Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline
July 16, 6:30 – Minnesota’s Oldest Murder Mystery by Gary Brueggemann
(Note: meeting is on a Wednesday evening in July. Thee book clubs read the same title, participate in a joint discussion, and meet the author Gary Brueggemann)
August 19 – Turn Here Sweet Corn by Atina Diffley
September 16 – The Healing by Jonathan Odell
October 21 – Mni Sota Makoce: The Land of the Dakota by Gwen Westerman
November 18 – Deadly Stillwater by Roger Stelljes
December 16 – A Book Club Special Edition. Read I Came Through Swell by Barbara Sommerville; meet the author at your book club gathering.
