Methods to Obtain Application Documents

All of our application documents are in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. If you do not have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here to download and install the free software.

Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the posted closing date. Late applications will not receive further consideration. The Human Resources Department cannot be responsible for failure of other agencies, postal services or internet providers to forward applications by the published deadline.

Important Information:
• A separate application form and a supplemental application form (when required) must be submitted for each vacancy.
• All paid experience must be documented on the application form.
• Experience will be pro-rated based on full-time equivalency. For example, one year of related experience in a half-time status will count as 6 months of work experience.
• When supplemental application form is required in addition to the employment application form, all paid work experience shown on the supplemental application must be also listed on the employment application form in order to receive appropriate credit.
• Initial screening for each job vacancy will be based solely upon the employment application form and, where applicable, the required supplemental application form. Unless indicated otherwise on the job posting, resumes: a.) will only be considered when specifically requested; and b.) will serve as a clarifier of information listed on the application and supplemental application forms.

Downloading an Application Document using Adobe Acrobat:
• Launch the form by clicking the "Employment Application Form" title.
• Click on any of the fields. Tab to move between the fields to complete the form.
• After you complete the form thoroughly, print out the form by selecting the print icon on the menu bar at the top of the form.
• If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 version or Adobe Acrobat Professional, you will be able to have the form on your computer. It is not possible to save the form if you have an earlier version of adobe Acrobat Reader.

Picking up an Application Document and Job Posting:
Application documents can be obtained at the Human Resources Department  located at Washington County Government Center in Stillwater.
