Hardwood Creek Library announces call for entries in community art show

The Hardwood Creek branch of Washington County Library will host a community art show Feb. 1-28. This non-juried art show is open to residents of the greater Forest Lake/Hugo area. Artists 18 years of age and older who are interested in being part of the show are invited to complete an application and submit it to the library from January 3-23, 2015.

See the complete list of rules and application form below. Direct questions to Hardwood Creek librarian Angie Noyes at 651-275-7300 or email

The Hardwood Creek Library community art show is part of Washington County Library’s Winter Jackets free reading program for adults. This program encourages adult library users to spend the winter months reading, submitting short book reviews to the library, and attending special library events. Winter Jackets events are free, open to the public, and presented in collaboration with the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA).

For additional information about Winter Jackets and other library programs, call 651-275-7300, visit a local library, or see
