Washington County Libraries will expand programs in March, thanks to a boost in funding from the state.
A family folk group will be featured in libraries throughout the county. The public is invited to the free events.

Washington County spring load limit restrictions become effective March 8
The Washington County Public Works Department announced that the 2010 spring load limit restrictions for Washington County roads will become effective as of 12:01 a.m., Monday, March 8. The spring road restrictions will stay in effect for eight weeks or unless special circumstances dictate otherwise.

Tax forms available at county libraries
For those who want to pick up tax forms - or take a look at them before taking them home or downloading them - an alternative to online sources is the Washington County Library branches. The county's libraries are the only locations at which copies of the forms may be obtained, outside of downloading them or purchasing them at office supply stores.
